Dylan C: (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Trumpet, Piano)
Dylan started playing guitar at age 6 and grew up in a very musical background. With years of experience in Jazz performance, Dylan studied music theory all throughout high school and college. Being part of many musical groups he learned various instruments in addition to Guitar. Trumpet, Piano, Bass, and Drums were soon to follow. He attended The Hartford Conservatory in Hartford Connecticut and also studied the Recording Arts. He has taught music from Connecticut to California, has been working with kids for over 15 years and has been teaching for over 13. After a short visit to Denver, has has been with us ever since.
Jim D: (Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Piano)
Jim is a guitarist, teacher, and composer based in Denver, Colorado. He received his formal training in jazz, guitar, and music education under Jerry Hahn, Dale Bruning, Ron Miles and Fred Hess at MSU in Denver. Over the past twenty years he has taught hundreds of students, performed all over the country, and released five studio albums. Playing and teaching a wide variety of styles including jazz, latin, folk, rock, blues, country, R&B, and funk. Jim was featured in Jazz Magazine Italy, and has shared the stage with Stanley Jordan, Rene Marie, Ron Miles, and many others.
Zack D: (Drums, Trombone)
Zack, who began his own music production company in 2015, has experience not only in teaching private lessons and giving clinics (10+ years), but also as a contributor to the ever-changing commercial music industry. He has written musical arrangements for some of the world’s premier vocalists and instrumentalists, as well as for various entertainment programs on board Princess Cruises vessels, including The Voice (of the Ocean), Festivals of the World, and Magical Mystery Tour where he also has played in the fleet’s Showbands. Off the cruise ship, Zack has frequently performed at popular venues in and around the Denver area, as well as on Denver’s esteemed public radio station, jazz89 KUVO. He has even had the pleasure of performing in pit orchestras for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (drums) and Urinetown (trombone) -both with Stage Flight Theatre. Zack firmly believes that a solid foundation in music theory and composition are critical to the success of any musician, thus all students are encouraged to create and share their own work as they progress. Zack graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2014 where he obtained a degree in Music Business, but whether or not the goal is to become a professional musician, Zack aims to help all his students realize their full potential and enjoy life through music!
Harry G: (Woodwinds & Flute)
Graduated from the University of Denver on a swimming scholarship as an Accounting Major and Music Minor. 1st clarinet in the 1st Infantry Army Band at Ft Meade, Maryland and toured Europe as first chair flute in the 3rd Army Band based in Wurzburg, Germany. Started teaching and playing professionally during college and have done so ever since.

Harry plays many styles of music professionally which consist of: Jazz, Blues, Pop, Ethnic, Klezmer & Polkas. He has been featured on many CD’s for various artist such as: Mary Stribling, Georgeann Low, Neil Haverstick, Big Junior, Scott Smith, Martha Yordy and Ben Cohen.
Tess H: (Guitar, Piano, Flute)
Tess began her music career at age 11 in Las Cruces NM, studying under Jenny Paulson and Katie Sak. She has been playing flute since 1994, and she has been playing guitar and piano since 2001. After winning state and regional competitions and participating in master classes with Tadeo Coelho, Lisa VanWinkle and Melissa Colgin-Abeln, she went on to study Classical Flute Performance under Pamela Endsley, Principle of Colorado Symphony Orchestra, at the Lamont School of Music. To enhance her musicianship, she studied extended flute technique with Marilyn Prestia, Assistant Principle of Colorado Symphony Orchestra. In 2005, she earned her performance degree from the University of Denver.
Susan L: (Voice, Piano, Guitar)
Dr. Susan Levasseur has three degrees in music and is an award winning dancer and poet.She is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
- Premiered four songs of Hidemi Matsushita using her original poetry,and taught voice and guitar at Arapahoe Community College for five years
- Conducted Master Classes in the U.S. and Europe and taught in many conservatories, colleges, and private music schoolsHer speciality is voice performance Master Classes and she has extensive training in musical theatre, opera and improvisation.
David O: (Guitar, Bass, Ukulele)
Born in El Paso, Texas and raised in Phoenix, Arizona David Ochoa is an up and coming guitarist well–versed in a variety of styles. Formative musical experiences early on in Rock and Blues groups led to an increased interest in the jazz tradition. Following this passion has led David to study with educators such as Steve Kovalcheck, Jim White, Eric Rasmussen, and Jeff Libman. These educational environments combined with the playing experience provided to him at schools such as the University of North Texas and the University of Northern Colorado allowed him additional experiences to grown and develop as a musician. He currently maintains a busy schedule teaching and performing in the Colorado area.
Dan O : (Cello, Beg. Guitar & Ukulele)
Dan Oliver is cellist currently based in the Denver Metro Area, he is a former member of the 2016 Brevard Concert Orchestra,residing, performing and studying on a considerable merit scholarship at the Brevard Classical MusicFestival.

- Working with, studying under, and performing alongside members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
- Studied cello under several world-class musicians, including the following: Silver Ainomäe (Currently Associate Principal Cellist of the Minnesota Orchestra, previous Principal Cellist of the Colorado Symphony), Jonathan Spitz (New Jersey Symphony Principal Cellist, American Symphony Orchestra Principal Cellist, and Professor at Rutgers University), Gal Faganel (Former Phoenix Symphony acting Principal, Professor at UNC) as well as others.
Dan has a true passion for music and that comes thru with his teaching.
Timothy P: (Guitar, Bass, Ukulele)
Tim has seventeen years experience and well versed on all styles of music. Tim’s toured extensively throughout the United States with various groups but am happy to now call Denver home. Tim has taught students of all ages and skill levels-from beginners to the more advanced looking to hone their craft. Music gives Tim so much inspiration and joy in life, and nothing pleases him more than to pass that on to others. You can learn theory, technique or how to play your favorite songs-but most importantly-how to have fun!
Alex Tripp is a drummer from Denver. After playing in the jazz band at Thomas Jefferson, and All-City jazz group at CEC in high school, he went on to Adams State College and played in the big band there for two years. Then he attended Berklee College of Music. At Berklee he got the opportunity to study with some of the best musicians in the industry. He also learned a lot about music theory there, and became proficient in piano as well. After graduating from Berklee with a degree in performance, Alex moved to New York for a year, where he played and taught. He moved back to Denver in September, 2015 and has been teaching and playing in numerous groups around the Denver area.
Max T: (Sax, Clarinet, Flute)
Max is a recent graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in music performance. He studied under the direction of Greg Banaszak. While attending school Max was a member of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the Baldwin Wallace Jazz Band, jazz combo groups, and the Baldwin Wallace Saxophone Quartet.
